Calling all Lauren Conrad and Kristen Cavallari fans
During springtime, I took a little trip down to Laguna Beach for my birthday. I needed a fun getaway trip where I could relax on the beach, enjoy some cocktails and enjoy myself for a couple of days. I’ve been asked a lot if Laguna was worth adding to a vacation list and my answer is YES! While there isn’t a whole lot to do, it is the best place to escape the hustle and bustle and relax with your honey.
If you are a foodie like me, you will find yourself overly obsessed with the cuisine there and find yourself daydreaming about your next meal.
Hotel
Hotels can really make or break a vacation for me. That is why we chose to stay at a top rated hotel called The Inn at Laguna. We chose this location for a couple of reasons.
#1 Location
You literally walk out the lobby, down one flight of stairs, and you are on the main stretch of beach. It’s in the heart of Laguna and therefore, you don’t have to take your car anywhere. You can walk to dinner, the beach, and to all the shops. It sits high on a cliff and the view is breathtaking!
#2 Quality
I am a sucker for a nice hotel. I really enjoy staying at resort that not only offers fabulous service, but cares about the little details. This hotel thinks of it all. Every morning they have complimentary coffee in the lobby and outside furniture to sit and enjoy your coffee with a view. They have beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, and other toys to use down at the beach that is just steps away from the front desk. Every evening while we were at dinner, they could come in and leave a tray of hot tea, honey and a nice little note for us. OH! and they have trays of cookies in the lobby every night!
Top Restaurants
I am still in shock at how amazing the food is in Laguna. We expected it to be decent and expensive, and were thrilled when it was tasty and affordable! We were given a list of places to visit prior to visiting, so now I must share with you! (Please note- all of these are within walking distance of the hotel).

What to Pack
Nothing fancy. It is the definition of a Beach Town. I had really high hopes that I would wear some of my fancy dresses, yet, ended up in my casual skirts, shorts, and sun dresses.
We hope you enjoy your trip as much as we enjoyed ours!
